Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 4, 2026
1. Introduction
DxHOP is a platform operated by Aggarwal Diagnostics Lab that helps you discover and compare diagnostic tests and health packages offered by third-party diagnostic laboratories, and submit an enquiry when you find something you're interested in. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use DxHOP, how we use it, and who we may share it with.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect the information you provide when you submit an enquiry through the website:
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- Your city
- If you enquire about a specific test or package, the test/package and lab you selected (and the price shown to you at the time)
- If you submit a General Enquiry, an optional note on what you're looking for (for example, "help me find the right test" or "just want a callback")
- That your enquiry came from the DxHOP website
We do not currently ask for or collect your email address, payment details, or any government ID. DxHOP does not require you to create an account. We may use website analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site — see Section 13 (Analytics) for details on what that does and does not include.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information you submit to:
- Respond to your enquiry and contact you about the test, package, or question you asked about
- Help you compare or understand the diagnostic options available to you
- Handle general enquiries and callback requests
- Operate, maintain, and improve the DxHOP service
4. Sharing of Information
When necessary to respond to or fulfil your enquiry, we may share the information you submitted (such as your name, phone number, and the test/package you asked about) with the relevant third-party diagnostic laboratory or service provider named in your enquiry, so that they — or we, on your behalf — can follow up with you. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
5. Pricing and Enquiry Information
Test and package prices shown on DxHOP are informational and provided for the purpose of enquiry — they may change, and the final price is confirmed directly with you at the time of booking. Submitting an enquiry does not create a payment or purchase.
6. WhatsApp / External Communication
After certain enquiries, DxHOP may open WhatsApp on your device with a pre-filled message, to make it easier for you to reach us. Opening WhatsApp in this way does not, by itself, send anything — you still need to press Send, and we have no way of confirming whether a message was actually sent. WhatsApp is operated by a separate company, and your use of it is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy and terms, not this one.
7. Prescription Reading & Artificial Intelligence Processing
DxHOP provides an optional feature allowing users to upload a photo (JPG, JPEG, or PNG) of a doctor's prescription to automatically identify diagnostic laboratory test names. Use of this feature is entirely voluntary.
- External AI Processing: To read and transcribe text from prescription documents, the uploaded file is transmitted securely over TLS to external artificial intelligence providers (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI).
- Purpose of Processing: The AI service is used solely for optical character recognition and identifying diagnostic laboratory test names mentioned on the document. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose health conditions, interpret clinical findings, or suggest treatments.
- Information Transmitted: Only the document file you select and explicitly authorize for upload is transmitted to the AI provider. DxHOP does not transmit your personal contact details (such as your name, phone number, or home address) separately to the AI provider; however, any personal or health information visible in the selected prescription is included in that file.
- Data Storage & Provider Handling: DxHOP processes uploaded files entirely in temporary server memory for the duration of the request; we do not store, host, or retain prescription files in our databases or cloud storage. When external AI providers operate under standard developer or free-tier terms (such as Google AI Studio free tier), submitted content may be logged or used by the provider in accordance with their developer policies. To safeguard patient privacy, DxHOP restricts evaluation testing to approved non-PHI synthetic prescriptions and will not submit live patient prescriptions to third-party AI services until verified commercial terms with non-training commitments are established.
- Mandatory Consent & Customer Control: Explicit patient consent is required before any prescription document can be submitted for automated reading. Choosing or dropping an image initiates upload and AI processing immediately, in agreement with the notice beside the upload control, including your confirmation that you are the patient or authorized to act on their behalf. No separate consent checkbox or confirmation step is used. Cancelling the file picker sends nothing. We record the declared upload action and notice version with a timestamp, hashed client key, MIME type and file size; this does not independently verify identity or authority. Users may always choose to bypass AI upload and search tests manually using our catalog search, or share their requirements directly with our advisors on WhatsApp. All tests identified by AI must be reviewed and confirmed by you before you proceed to compare prices or submit an enquiry.
8. Data Retention
We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, maintain our business records, and meet any applicable legal or operational requirements. We do not currently apply a fixed, automatic deletion period to enquiry data. If you would like your information reviewed, updated, or deleted, please contact us using the details in Section 10.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including access controls that restrict who can view enquiry data. No method of storing or transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Requests

11. Children's Privacy
DxHOP is intended for use by adults submitting enquiries on their own behalf or on behalf of a family member. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. We do not operate any age-verification system.
12. Third-Party Websites
DxHOP may reference or link to third-party services, such as WhatsApp. These third parties have their own privacy policies and terms, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
13. Analytics
DxHOP may use Vercel Analytics — a service provided by Vercel, the company that hosts this website — to help us understand aggregate website usage and improve the website and your experience on it. This may include information such as which pages and features are used, how visitors interact with test and package pages, whether enquiry-related actions (such as starting or completing an enquiry) are completed, and general website performance and usage patterns.
DxHOP does not intentionally include your name, mobile number, email address, physical address, the free-text content of any enquiry, or any medical or health information in the data sent to our analytics provider. Analytics information is intended to reflect aggregate, product-level usage rather than to identify you individually, though our analytics provider may use cookies, device or browser identifiers, or similar technical mechanisms to distinguish visits, as described in that provider's own privacy documentation.
Any information collected through analytics may be processed by Vercel in accordance with Vercel's own privacy practices, which we do not control. We intend to use analytics in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws, and will provide additional notice or choices about analytics if we determine that doing so is required.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the DxHOP service changes. The "Effective date" above reflects the date this version took effect.
